Entering the property you'll find yourself in a cosy living room with comfy seating, log burning stove, reading nook, and flatscreen tv. We've included some books and games, a DVD player and DVDs, and there's free wifi throughout the property. You are welcome to sign into your own Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts (but please do remember to sign out before leaving!) We provide enough kindling and logs for your first fire, but can provide more for a small additional charge.

The kitchen diner comfortably seats 6 at the large farmhouse table, (plus a highchair) and the modern fitted kitchen has all you need including:

Airers, recycling facilities, and various household items including an iron and ironing board and vacuum cleaner are housed in the understairs cupboard, alongside an emergency first aid kit and fire safety items.

The spacious four piece family bathroom has a large, double ended roll-top bath, with mixer tap and hand held shower head, and a spacious walk in shower with rainfall showerhead. Towels are provided - all you need to bring are your beach towels.

The first floor double bedroom has a king size bed, comfortable seating, a dressing table and bureau desk, while upstairs in the open plan family room, there's a king size bed, comfortable seating dressing table and hanging space to one side, and two singles to the other. Also in the family room is our reading den - inspired by Hairy Bob's Cave and containing colour change LED lighting, books and a comfy pile of oversize cushions. A travel cot is available for our youngest guests - please bring your own cot bedding. All other linens are included.

The family room is open plan to the house, and while every measure is taken to ensure a safe and comfortable stay, we recommend very young children be supervised in this space. Stair gates are available for both up and downstairs and perspex safety screens have been installed on the attic banister.

Wherever possible we have tried to highlight the work of local artists and many of our decorative items come from local businesses and craftspeople - some of which make up our seaside themed character hunt!

Local Area
Immediate facilities to the property are extremely good offering Tesco express, local restaurants, and shops within 1-5 minutes walk.
On street parking is available around the property (see the guest area upon booking for more information.) Scratch cards for street parking are provided for up to two vehicles. Alternatively a number of pay and display cars park are within a 5 minute walk.
Scarborough train station is a 10 minute walk away, and there is a local taxi firm office 1 minute away.

South and North beaches are both extremely accessible, being a 12-15 minute walk away as well as Peasholm Park, with its Japanese themed gardens and boating lake. Most entertainment venues in Scarborough, including the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Spa and Open Air Theatre are all within 15-20 minutes walk, or a short taxi ride.

The safety and comfort of our guests is extremely important to us and we have taken every measure to ensure your stay is a happy one, Including:
Integrated fire alarm system in all rooms, and carbon monoxide alarms in living room and kitchen.
Fire extinguishers, fire blankets. and torches provided upstairs and down.
A basic first aid kit, located in the understairs cupboard.
Excellent standards of cleanliness.
Fully risk assessed and certified.
