Entertainment

Scarborough has a thriving entertainment scene.

Home to the Stephen Joseph Theatre, and the Spa complex there are plenty of live shows to catch.

The live music scene is huge, with many venues offering open mic nights and live bands, and the Open Air Theatre offers headliners such as Kylie, Little Mix and Tom Jones.

If film is your thing, we highly recommend heading to Malton to catch a release at the family run Palace Cinema, or head to York for the larger multiplexes.

Eat and Drink

Scarborough boasts a wealth of great eateries from fine dining to small cafes, and of course traditional sea front treats,

whether that means fish and chips, candy floss, a pot of cockles, or a good old fashioned ice cream!

Walking

Walking enthuiasts will find no end of routes that take in North Yorkshire's incredible scenery.  Even short walks along our beaches have so much to offer, while more hardened hikers can walk the Cleveland Way, or tackle part or all of the Cinder Trail that follows the old railway line all the way to Whitby.  For day trips, Dalby Forest, Pickering and Helmsley and the North Yorkshire Moors are a wonderful choice.
